How to use it

For extra stimulation, sprinkle some catnip or other safe herbs on the carpet to make playtime even more engaging.
You can also hide freeze-dried treats inside the carpet, turning it into a scent toy. This is a great way to complete the hunting cycle – your cat catches the toy under the carpet and then discovers a treat there.

Cat behaviourist advice
Use wand toys to encourage the different stages of your cat’s hunting cycle, such as stalking, jumping, running, and catching. Move the wand to mimic prey escaping or hiding under the carpet through its holes. Let your cat catch the end of the wand with their paws and mouth.
Finish the hunt with a treat, ideally given through a puzzle toy.
