Kicker with Herbs and Removable Cover

Cat kickers are designed for cats that:

• have difficulty regulating their emotions
• display aggressive behaviours
• struggle with bite inhibition during play
• have excess energy to burn
• benefit from daily play that satisfies their natural hunting instincts

The set consists of two parts – the filling and the cover. Both parts must be purchased for the toy to be complete and ready for play. When you purchase both parts, you will receive a fully assembled kicker in the packaging that helps preserve the freshness of the herbs.

Do not use the filling without the cover! The inner cover containing the filling is intentionally made from a very thin material to allow the scent of the herbs to pass through as effectively as possible.
The outer kicker cover is made from durable upholstery fabric to protect the filling from damage.

What is a cat kicker?

Care and washing instructions

• The cover can be hand-washed or machine-washed at 40°C. Be aware that the fabric may transfer colour onto other textiles. It can also be disinfected using high temperatures (e.g., a garment steamer or steam cleaner)
• During washing, remember to keep the filling away from your cat, as they may damage it. Alternatively, have a second cover ready to use
• Treat the filling in the same way as buckwheat pillows. If necessary, it can be disinfected using low or high temperatures – in an oven, microwave, or freezer
• Do not allow the filling to get wet

Cat behaviourist advice

Use the kicker during play as part of the catch-and-kill phase of the hunting sequence. Finish the hunting sequence with a treat (ideally served form a puzzle toy) or a full meal.

For nervous or fearful cats, or those with no previous exposure to cat herbs, it’s worth starting with a smaller toy – such as a catnip ball or valerian pierogi.
